From the mountainous region of NW Italy comes a short-season tomato with an exceptionally rich flavor. Prolific clusters of 10–12 small (1½") very shiny red fruits hold on the vine and can be picked all at once. The elongated five-sided fruits have thick walls and tiny seeds. Excellent fresh, stewed, or added to sauce. They dry well, too. This year’s grower calls them “unreal: pristine all season long.”
