When creating our Shaving Soap it had to provide a superior lather, be beneficial to your skin beyond a standard Shaving Soap and it had to smell amazing. Creme de la Crop stands for the Best of the Best and that is what we accomplished.

Our Shaving Soap containing only a few ingredients that are all in pure form.  The formula contains Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Cocoa Butter all of which provide moisture and hydration to your skin.  We have taken it a step further and added Bentonite clay which naturally draws out impurities and added only the purest Essential Oils.

Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Cocoa Butter, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Bentonite Clay, Titanium Dioxide & Essential Oils

Instructions:

- Soak your shaving brush prior to usage to soften the bristles or strands of your brush.

- Prepare the soap to create a lather by wetting your fingers with hot water then flick the droplets onto the soap. If the soap is very firm you may soften it by allowing the water to set on top of the soap for a few minutes.  This process is called blooming and many wet shavers do this prior to showering.

- Loading your shaving brush by first shaking the excess water from the bristles.  Your brush should be damp at this point.  Take your brush and swirl it on the top of the soap in a circular motion for about 30 seconds to a minute.  The tips of the bristles should appear pasty.

Methods of Application:

- Bowl or Mug Method

After you have loaded your shaving brush with the soap take the shaving brush and swirl it into your bowl or mug.  Periodically dip the tip of your brush into hot water to a bit of hydration onto the brush.  Your goal is to make your shaving soap not appear dry.  Take your time and do this slowly making sure not to water down the soap.  You will want to create the richest lather possible.

- Face or Palm

You may choose to build the lather on your face or palm directly.  Use the same method above without the mug or bowl.  If your lather is dry the first time you pass your face simply add a bit more water for the next pass.  Do this until you feel the latter is perfect for you.  It is recommended that the lather is in its best form when it glistens.

How to store your Shaving Soap:

After your shave simply rinse your shaving soap with water and place it on the edge of your sink to allow air to circulate around to dry it out.  By doing this any extra water will drip into the sink directly.  After a few hours, your soap will be dry enough to place it in a soap dish or tray.  If you have a self-drying dish or a thin loofa sponge it will dry on its own in one simple step.
